Professional Profile:

Stacey McBrineStacey has more than 30 years’ experience securing, designing and implementing such diverse systems as Microsoft Windows, Novell Netware, DEC VMS, IBM AIX, Solaris, SCO Unix, Linux, and MAC O/S and Cisco switches, routers and firewalls. He also was systems analyst for several software development projects using assembly language, C, dBase, Access, Visual Basic and Oracle. By providing consulting services he has assisted numerous organizations to improve, automate and secure business processes and their supporting systems.

Bringing his real world experience to the classroom since 1999, his emphasis has been focused on security related training. Whether in the classroom or through virtual online sessions, he enjoys sharing his depth and breadth of experience and his common sense approach to security, technology and business processes. Stacey is an authorized instructor for ISC2, EC-Council, Cisco, Microsoft, Logical Operations, CompTIA and ITIL.

Having held industry certifications since 1997, Stacey was one of the first 2000 persons in the world to achieve MCSE certification for Windows 2000. His current certifications include CISSP, CASP, CFR, CEH, ECSA, CHFI, CEI, CCNA, CCSS, CCSI, CTT+, LINUX+, SECURITY+, A+, SCNP, ITIL Foundations, MCT, MCSA, MCITP, MCTS, MCP+I.

Stacey has authored two books in the Laudon MCSE/MCSA Certification series published by Pearson Prentice Hall: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Windows XP Professional and Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure.
